Good idea, bad delivery |

I wanted glass bc it is cleaner and my plastic version of this is looking sort of cloudy. Anyways, i used it once and noticed it is deep so i did not want to break my hydrometer by dropping it in. So i gently slid it in while holding the glass jar diagonally. I got within 1 inch of the bottom and lightly let go. My hydrometer went right thru the bottom of the glass jar. 2 issues. 1. Cheap thin glass, 2. The glass tube does not fit flush in the plastic base. If it was flush it would keep this form happening. Also it does sit flat. When i tested my Hydro it was tough to read since it sat sideways in the base. junk.
