Product works very well with or without re-hydrating yeast. I have used this yeast by making a starter and just sprinkling it on top of wort and both work well and quick. Have had fermentation start in as little as 3 hours with full krausen in less than 8 hours. Finishes dry, great for stouts, English style beers, or really any beer. Used in an English Dry Stout and Extra Special Bitter with exceptional results.
