Great lager at ale temperatures |

About every 3rd batch I make a light lager as I find it to consistently be my best beer (not my all time favorite, but the most consistently good and a recipe that even my non-homebrew loving friends like). I've been alternating between this yeast and the Saflager S-23. Both are good, but this one has the advantage of fermenting at ale temperatures. Usually spent 2 weeks at around 64 degree in a primary, raise to 70 for a couple of days, then transfer to a secondary and lager for 3 to 5 weeks. Really can't tell the difference between this yeast and other lager yeasts that require colder fermenting temperatures and it results in a clean, crisp finished lager.
